In the name of God Amen I Richard Andrew of Clipston in the parish of Laiton Bussard in the Countie of Bedford yeoman beinge weake and sicke of body but of good and perfect sence knowledge and memory praised bee God doe hereby make and ordaine this my last will and Testament disposeinge hereby of my worldly estate in manner followinge that is to say Inprimis I doe hereby give and bequeath unto Richard Andrew John Andrew William Andrew Agnis Andrew and Bethia Andrew my my children to every of them twelve pence of lawfull money of England Item I doe hereby give and bequeath unto William Andrew my brother Thomas Attwell al[ia]s Welles my brother in Law and John Purratt my brother in Law the sume of two hundred and six pounds of good and lawfull money of England upon this speciall trust and confidence that they the said William Thomas and John shall \with the same/ pay and discharge all such sume and sumes of money which att the time of my decease shall bee due and payable to any person or persons by vertue of the Condic[i]on or Condic[i]ons of any Surrender or Surrenders heretofore made or to bee made whereby I have surrendered \or ...? surrender?/ some of my Coppyhold lands Tenements and hereditaments into the hands of the Lord or Lords of the Mannor of Laiton Bussard att Grovebury And doe thereby free and discharge my said lands Tenements and hereditaments of and from the said Surrenders provided alwaies neverthelesse that if my Executrix hereafter named shall pay and discharge the said sume once sumes payable by vertue of the Condic[i]on or Condic[i]ons of such said Surrender or Surrenders made or to bee made as aforesaid That then the aforesaid guift and bequest before made to the said William Andrew Thomas Attwell al[ia]s Wells and John Purratt shall bee voyd and the said two hundred and six pounds shall not bee paid to them as aforesaid Item all other my goods Cattells and Chattells ungiven and unbequeathed my debts Legacies and funerall Expences beinge satisfied and paid I doe give and bequeath unto Agnis my wife whom I doe make sole Executrix of this my last will and Testament In witnes whereof I the said Richard Andrew have hereunto sett my hand and seale the Fowerth day of may in the yeare of our Lord God one Thousand six hundred Fiftie and nine. 1659.
