In the name of God Amen the ninth day of April in
the yeare of our Lord god one Thousand six hundred fiftie five
I Robert Plummer of Leighton Bussard in the Countie of Bedford
yeoman being weake in bodie but of perfect memorie doe declare
and publish this to be my last will and Testament in manner and
forme following that is to say First and before all earthly thinges
I doe comend my soul and spirit into the hands of Allmightie god
my Creator trusting to be saved only by the merits of Jesus Christ
my Saviour and my bodie to be decently buried And for my worldly
goods I dispose of them as followeth Inprimis I give unto my daughter
Elisabeth Plummer Fortie pound in money and goods It[em] I give
unto Jane Plummer my daughter Fortie pounds in money and goods
It[em] I give unto my daughter Marie Plummer fortie pound in money
and goods It[em] I give unto my sonne Laurance Plummer fortie pound
in money and goods It[em] I give unto my daughter Sarah Coles twentie
shillings All the rest of my goods unbequeathed I give unto my
beloved wife Anne Plummer whom I make executrixe to this my last
will & testament to see my legacies paid my debts discharged and
my bodie decently buried In witnesse whereof I have hereunto set
my hand and Seal the day & yeare above written I likewise request
my loving brother Thomas Plumar and my Cousin Birth overseers
