In the Name of God Amen the nine and twentieth day of Aprill in the third yeare of the Reigne of our Soveraigne Lord and Lady William and Mary by the grace of God of England Scotland France and Ireland King and Queene Defenders of the faith &c. Annoq[ue] Domini one thousand six hundred ninety one I William Stonell of Laighton Bussard in the County of Bedford Bricklayer being sick in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be therefore given unto Almighty God and calling to mind the uncertainety of this present life doe therefore make and ordaine this my last Will and testament in manner and forme following that is to say first and principally I doe commend my Soule into the hands of Almighty God my Creator hopeing assuredly through the only merritts of Jesus Christ my Saviour and Redeemer to bee made partaker of Everlasting life for my body I doe Committ the same to the earth in decent manner to bee buried And for such worldly goods and estate as it hath pleased Almighty God of his goodnesse to lend mee I doe give will devise and bequeath the same as followeth Inprimis I doe give will and bequeath unto Robert Nash my brother in Law of the parish of Aston Clinton in the County of Buck[ingham] Husbandman the Sume of ten pounds of Lawfull money of England to bee paid unto him by my Executrixes out of my personall Estate within one yeare next after my decease Item I doe give will devise and bequeath unto William Nash my kinsman and sonne of the said Robert Nash my brother in Law and to the Heires Executors Administrators and Assignes of the said William Nash for ever All those my two acres of Arrable Land by estimation bee they more or lesse with their appurtenances which I late had and purchased of Richard Allen dispersedly lyeing and being within the parish and feilds of Soulbury in the County of Buck[ingham] and alsoe all that one yard of meadow ground with th'appurtenances which I late had and purchased of Francis Whittchurch and lying in the Parish of Hulkott in the said County of Buck[ingham] to have hold and enjoy the said two Acres of Arrable Land and one yard of meadow ground with their appurtenances unto the said William Nash my kinsman his heires Executors Administrators and Assignes forever or if the same premisses shall bee Leasehold then for and dureing all such terme and number of yeares yett to come and unexpired Item I doe give will and bequeath unto the said William Nash my kinsman the summe of one hundred pounds of Lawfull money of England to be payed unto him his Executors Administrators or Assignes by my Executrixes out of my personall Estate within one yeare next after my decease Item I doe give will and bequeath unto Thomas Nash my kinsman one other of the sonnes of the said Robert Nash my brother in Law the summe of fifty pounds of Lawfull money of England to bee payed unto him his Executors Administrators or Assignes by my Executrixes out of my personall estate within one yeare next after my decease Item I doe give will and bequeath unto John Nash my kinsman one other of the sonnes of the said Robert Nash my brother in law the summe of fifty pounds of lawfull mony of England to bee payed unto him his Executors Administrators or Assignes by my Executrixes out of my personall estate within one yeare next after my decease Item I doe give will and bequeath unto the Children of the said William Nash my kinsman which shall bee liveing at the time of my decease the summe of forty pounds of Lawfull money of England equally amongst them to bee devided share and share alike and to bee payed unto them or the Survivors of them by my Executrixes out of my personall estate when and according as they shall accomplish their severall and respective ages of one and twenty yeares Item I doe give will and bequeath unto the Children of the said Thomas Nash my kinsman which shall bee liveing at the time of my decease the sume of thirty pounds of Lawfull money of England equally amongst them to bee devided share and share alike and to bee payed unto them or the Survivors of them by my Executrixes out of my personall estate when and according as they shall accomplish their severall and respective ages of one and twenty yeares Item I doe give unto Oliver Taylor thelder of Laighton Bassard aforesaid Glasier the summe of forty shillings of Lawfull money of England to bee payed unto him by my Executrixes within one yeare next after my decease Item I doe give will and bequeath unto Oliver Taylor the Younger my Godsonne the summe of five pounds of Lawfull money of England to bee payed unto him by my Executrixes out of my personall Estate within one yeare next after my decease Item I doe give unto Jane Goodes John Taylor Joseph Taylor Benjamin Taylor and Daniell Taylor children of the said Oliver Taylor thelder the summe of forty forty shillings a peice of Lawfull mony of England to bee payed unto them or the Survivors of them when and according as they shall accomplish their severall and respective ages of one and twenty yeares by my Executrixes out of my personall Estate Item I doe give unto Anne Peirson Thomas Peirson and Henry Peirson children of William Peirson late of Leighton Bassard aforesaid yeoman deceased the summe of twenty shillings a peece of lawfull mony of England to bee paied unto them or the Survivors of them when and according as they shall accomplish their severall and respective ages of one and twenty yeares Item all the rest and residue of my money goods Chattells and personall Estate whatsoever unbequeathed my Legacies as aforesaid are xpressed and my funerall expences there out deducted and discharged I doe give will and bequeath unto Martha Taylor now wife of the said Oliver Taylor thelder and Sarah Peirson of Leighton Bussard aforesaid widdow equally betweene them to bee devided And I doe ordaine and make the said Martha Taylor and Sarah Peirson to bee joint Executrixes of this my last will and testament and I doe hereby revoke and make void all former wills by mee made and doe pronounce and declare this present to bee my last Will and Testament In witnesse whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and Seale the day and yeare first above written William Stonell his
