Manorial History - Heath Manor and Reach Manor

In the Domesday Book (except for Nares Gladley) the parish of Heath & Reach was included within the manor of Leighton and consequently in the grant of Fontrevault.

There are references to Heath during the 1200s, for instance in relation to Herbert de la Hethe and his wife Alice, 1219, and in a Taxation of a Ninth in 1297.

The Manor of Reach is mentioned in documents 1273, and also in the Extent of the Manor of La Grava, in 1318. However, there are no further references to these manors after this date.
