The Font, St. Mary the Virgin, Old Linslade

Subject: Font located at the western end of the nave of St. Mary the Virgin, Old Linslade.
Date: 2004
Notes: The font dates from circa 1210 and has a carved band of decoration depicting four grotesque beasts having richly foliated tails, and with small buches of foliage between them. The bowl has at some stage been cracked and mended.
